Interactive installation

Originally me and Lina had planned to create an interactive installation using a pressure sensor and a button, our first concept was the following:

We will show a man standing in the processing window and if a button is pressed, we want to make it rain which makes the man angry. However, it is possible to make the man happy again, we will do this by using the pressure sensor. We want to buy a small cocktail umbrella and some weights and put this on the cocktail umbrella, then place it on the pressure sensor. If the umbrella is on the sensor the man will be in the rain, but if you lift up the umbrella the man will also lift his umbrella in the processing window and protect himself from the rain, thus making him happy again.

However as we got to work with the pressure sensor we learned that it was very specific in how it worked and we had to revise a lot. Eventually we came up with a new idea.

We would attach the pressure sensor to a plushie and it you could pet the plushie. If you press down too hard it will be sad and if you press down too little it will also be sad. Below is a video to show our installation.
Some issues we encountered were the fact that we were not able to make multiple analog inputs work at the same time and therefor we ended up implementing only one.
