The final concept that our team came up with is to make an interactive installation that checks if you don't forget to important belongings when leaving the house.
We will use both processing and arduino.
In processing the user can make presets or select presets that will be uploaded to the scanner, these presets will be lists of items made for specific occasions or days. The user can decide what list of items they need per day without having to think of the specific items because the system will do that for them. When putting items in their bags the user scans them. The RFID sensor will then check all individual items and store them digitally. Once the user is ready to leave they press the ready button and an LED screen will show if they are not missing any items. Below is a small illustration to help visualize the concept.
